CNC ONSITE IS FOUNDED

CNC Onsite is founded by Hans Løvlund Toft and Laurits Sørensen. In its early days, the company focused on repairing and maintaining machine tools, primarily for the metal industry and wind turbine manufacturers.
Both Hans and Laurits started the company with experience in both machine repair and mobile machining

FIRST MAJOR ORDER FOR MOBILE MACHINING TASK

The company gets off to a good start and hires its first four technicians in early 2013. It’s also in the spring of 2013 that CNC Onsite receives its first major order for a mobile machining task.

FIRST  MOBILE MACHINING ORDER ABROAD

CNC Onsite secures its first major mobile machining project abroad. The order comes as a result of quick and efficient repairs observed by the customer during a task at Lindø.
As a result, CNC Onsite sends its first machines to Hong Kong and Singapore, and five technicians head eastward for their first major repair task abroad.

AAGE DAM AS NEW CEO

Aage Dam joins CNC Onsite as a partner and managing director. Aage brings extensive experience from international companies, most recently serving as the managing director for Bürkert Denmark and the Benelux countries.
At the same time, Hans assumes the position of Technical Director, and Laurits Sørensen steps down from his partnership in CNC Onsite.

OUR PATENTED TOOTH SEGMENT MILLING MACHINE IS DEVELOPED

In 2017, CNC Onsite develops its patented tooth segment milling machine. This machine, which is still in use today, is deployed on tasks worldwide.

FIRST CUSTOMIZED MACHINE FOR DRILLING IN FIBERGLASS

CNC Onsite develops its first customized machine for drilling in fiberglass. This is delivered in early 2018 and is used to perform precise machining, enabling the customer to assemble components accurately on-site.
This marks the beginning of delivering tailored machines to meet each customer’s needs. Until the development of this machine, CNC Onsite had only developed machines for internal use. However, today, developing customized solutions for customers is an important part of the services offered.

ESTABLISHMENT OF OUR PROFESSIONAL BOARD

CNC Onsite establishes a professional board consisting of Claus Søgaard Poulsen, Søren Kellenberger, Aage Dam, and Hans Løvlund Toft.

Additionally, Lene Skovsgaard participates as a sparring partner and secretary at board meetings after the new board has taken office.

A GREATER EMPHASIS ON SALES

After a prolonged period of discussions regarding strategy and focus among Aage, Hans, and the board, it is concluded that there is a need for a greater emphasis on sales.

Therefore, Søren Kellenberger steps down from the board and instead assumes the role of Sales Director. Simultaneously, the ownership structure is changed as Søren Kellenberger becomes an equal co-owner. It is also decided that the focus should be 100% on the wind industry.

In this new constellation, the three owners can focus on the areas where they each excel: Administration, Technical, and Sales. The new focus and increased resources quickly translate into growth.

THE DEVELOPMENT OF GOLIATH

The flange milling machine, Goliath, is developed and deployed worldwide to perform machining on large flanges for monopiles, transition pieces, and towers. What takes 2-3 days for other suppliers to accomplish, CNC Onsite achieves in just one day with the newly developed and efficient machine, which in its first version can handle flanges with diameters of up to 11 meters.

The machine is developed alongside a twin, which is initially leased and later purchased by a customer in Spain.

Goliath continues to be deployed on tasks worldwide.

WORLD WIDE MOBILE MACHINING

In 2023, CNC Onsite continues to deliver customized machines to its customers. Interest in the tailored machines is increasing, and they are being deployed worldwide (including Australia, Belgium, Colombia, China, Sweden, Taiwan, Germany, among others). Simultaneously, CNC Onsite’s technicians travel with the machines to operate them and to train the customer’s local employees in machine operation-

In 2023, CNC Onsite employs 34 staff members.

AT CNC ONSITE

WE PROVIDE

REDUCED DOWNTIME

We conduct on-site repairs, provide tailored solutions, and respond quickly to minimize downtime for your wind turbines.

IMPROVED TOTAL ECONOMY

We can enhance the project’s total economy by promptly deploying and offering efficient solutions without the need for external cranes. The planning and coordination process is much shorter when repairs are done on-site, and we handle the majority of tasks ourselves. This minimizes the internal resources our customers need to invest in our collaboration.

LIFE EXTENSION

We conduct on-site repairs and only fix the damaged parts of the main component. This extends the turbine’s lifespan and gets it back in operation more quickly. Thus, our customers avoid replacing entire components and save costs associated with cranes, new spare parts, and long downtime.

FAULT FINDING IN A SAFE ENVIRONMENT

Our workshop serves as our testing ground. It’s where we experiment with new solutions and build knowledge. In our workshop, we’ve created a space where errors are not only detected but also make us wiser and ensure that we deliver flawlessly on-site.

INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS

We always find a solution to the challenge and tailor solutions as needed. When we customize a solution, it’s developed with the purpose of streamlining the repair process, minimizing downtime in each turbine, and reducing our customers‛ use of resources.

KEEPING THINGS IN ORDER

We handle our tasks professionally and deliver solutions that we can stand by from a technical standpoint. Our professional handling is supported, among other things, by structured internal processes, ensuring that method descriptions, drawing materials, measurement reports, etc., are distributed to the right people.

HIGH EXPERTISE & QUALITY

We have professionally competent employees with vast knowledge and experience in construction and implementation. It’s because of them that we can develop and deliver the solutions our customers need, and their immense adaptability enables us to respond promptly to any situation.

DECENCY

With us, you can expect honest communication, ongoing updates, and good conduct on-site. We align expectations with our customers, adhere to our agreements, and deliver our solution on time and within budget. Additionally, we always leave the site tidy and cleaned up.
