German Windkraft-Journal mentions CNC Onsite’s mobile precision machine

Used to drill out damaged blade root inserts and then reinsert the replacement insert, CNC Onsite’s mobile machine carries out the job the job to precision. This is required as it is important to center the new blade root insert. CNC Onsite has an agreement with Dutch We4Ce, a rotor blade specialist, to repair damaged blade root inserts on-site in the wind park.

The damaged rotor blade root bushings are extracted using CNC Onsite's mobile machines. The patented threaded bushings are inserted. The graphic shows a segment of six bushings on the left of the blade root. One bushing is being inserted into the extracted hole. In the top left corner the enlarged bushings is shown. The design includes groves. The blade root is lying on its side on a raised platform.
